On-time Performance and Push Notifications
While CST has a stellar on-time performance record of 98.9 percent there are other times when traffic delays or inclement weather slows drivers down. The RideCST app can help alleviate anxiety by providing push notifications if a vehicle is running more than five minutes late. Once the initial “running late” notification is sent, families and caregivers will continue to receive updates if the driver’s estimated time of arrival changes.
If a vehicle experiences mechanical difficulties and the driver cannot complete the route, the driver can use the app to transfer the route to another driver. In cases like this, the family or caregiver will be notified and provided with updated arrival information as well as the new driver’s name.

Downloading the App:
Go to the App store or Google play to download
Set up your account by opening the app and click “sign in.”
Sign in to your account using your email address – you must use the same email address you provided to your school or district. You will be prompted to reset your password the first time you sign in.
On the “sign in” screen click “forgot password” to get an email link that will allow you to reset (be sure to check your spam folder for an email from technology@drivecst.org.
